aeson-pretty software package provides JSON pretty-printing tool, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aeson-pretty
aeson-pretty is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aeson-pretty package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aeson-pretty *
You will get with aeson-pretty package name, version, architecture and description in a table
